Delivering Quality Rest
As we all know, our mattress plays a large role in our quality of sleep. Since sleep is so important to our overall health, and since we spend about a third of our lives sleeping, it makes sense that we should have a mattress that delivers the perfect amount of comfort and support to facilitate the kind of deep, restful sleep that our bodies and minds need in order to thrive. But how do you know when your mattress isn’t cutting it anymore? How can you tell when it’s time to purchase a new mattress?
Trust Your Body
A mattress warranty is one way to track when you should purchase a new mattress. If you’ve run out the warranty on your mattress, then it’s likely that the materials in your mattress will begin to break down and diminish its ability to properly support your body. However, not every mattress warranty dictates how long your mattress will last, so you shouldn’t base your decision to purchase a new mattress solely on an expired warranty. The best way to know if it’s time for a new mattress is to ask your body. Do you wake up with aches and pains? Do you toss and turn a lot throughout the night? Can you see excessive body indentations and deep cavities? These are the best ways to determine whether or not your mattress is still capable of properly supporting your body. If your mattress isn’t delivering the amount of comfort and support your body requires for healthy sleep, then it’s time to purchase a new one. Remember, we spend about a third of our lives sleeping, so it’s important that we spend that time well. If your mattress isn’t providing you with quality rest, then it’s time for a change.
